As part of our ongoing commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), employees from HFR recently joined colleagues from Esh Group and CDS Security & Fire for the annual litter pick at Bowburn North Industrial Estate.
On Tuesday 21 July 2026, around 20 volunteers came together to help keep the local area clean and tidy. Working as a team, participants collected approximately a dozen bags of litter from roadsides, footpaths and green spaces across the estate.
One of the most encouraging outcomes of the day was that the amount of rubbish collected was noticeably lower than in previous years. This is a positive sign that ongoing efforts by local businesses, employees and the wider community are helping to improve the environment and reduce litter across the estate.
The event also provided a great opportunity for colleagues from different organisations to get to know one another, strengthen relationships and spend time outdoors contributing to a shared cause. The morning was both productive and enjoyable, with volunteers taking pride in making a visible difference to the local area.
